MY DEFINITION OF HOME

Home is such a nice word. So for me, home is my house itself. My house isn’t even that big or luxurious, but i never ever care about the architecture because the important things are what and who’s inside of it.

The main reason why i call my house ‘home’ is because the presence of my family in it. My family and i are just like friends. They tell me things that happen to them while i’m at school, which is away from them. Not always, but most of the time, we tell each other’s problem. All that makes me feel like i’m in a good circumstance whenever i’m at home.

Another reason why i love being at home is because i spend most of my time and also do my favorite things there. So, what else do i need? It’s like, all things i need are already there, at home.

So we’ve done talking about the good things. Then what about the bad ones? Is there anything that makes me want to leave? Actually, there isn’t any. Maybe at times, when i get told off by my parents or when i feel annoyed by my little sisters, but those things never really get to me that i want to run away from my own home.

Whether i’m having problems with my school life or not, wherever i am at that moment, the first thing that comes into my mind is that i just want to return home. No matter if there’s any other better places out there, because for me personally, home will be the rightest place to go.

My current house isn’t yet my kind of dream house but i’m totally fine about that. However, a house with a swimming pool, a bigger backyard, a praying room, and a library would be really good. I mean, who doesn’t want such things?

Home is about the feeling you can find in yourself. It’s more like a good feeling you have when you’re in a place where you just feel safe and comfortable in it. It doesn’t have to be your own house. It could be somewhere, with whoever it is. But mine will always be my own house and, of course, with my beloved family.
